How to pronounce the brand Hermes (from Paris)? Is it different between English-speaking ppl and French-speaki
Is it different between English-speaking ppl and French-speaking ppl?
But from what I know, in French, it should be air-mei….without the “s” sound too, isn’t it?
haha yes maybe eng-speaking ppl pronounce it as her-mas. But then I got an American friend who told me he pronounces it em-mas and I wanna know why
How does a French person pronounce Paris? (paree) How does an English speaking person pronounce Paris. (paris) How does and Italian pronounce Rome (roma)as opposed to a an English or American? (rome) With the word Hermes the French speaker would not voice the the last S or the first H so it would sound like err/may but an unpretentious english speaker would/could pronounce the final s and the first h as in her/mays
